The evening of Samana event will host 200 veterinary professionals, patrons of The Village Vets Veterinary hospitals, government officials and supporters for a night of fun, education and fundraising. The evening, hosted by veterinarians and technicians traveling to execute their work in the Dominican Republic, seeks to educate and entertain the local community as to their goals for the annual trip and the overall project. The event will partner with local Caribbean organizations, local government, numerous veterinary practices and universities as well as local businesses for the event. The event expects to not only raise funds for the annual trip but also to impact the local economy through networking and the purchase of supplies.
